At Jackson Dental, we serve our patients with all their dental needs. We offer following services.

Family and Children's Dentistry: Family dentistry provides services related to the general maintenance of oral hygiene and tooth health. Family dentists typically care for a wide variety of patients, from young children to older adults.  It is important that your child see a dentist by age one to establish a long-term dental hygiene and professional dental cleaning plan. Family dentists are responsible for ensuring that plaque buildup around the teeth is kept to a minimum, that tooth decay is eliminated and cavities are filled, and that gums remain healthy.

Cosmetic Dentistry: Cosmetic Dentistry focuses on improving the appearance of a person's teeth, mouth and smile, including restorative benefits like tooth colored fillings. Cosmetic dentistry treatments include, inlays/onlays also known as indirect fillings, composite bonding, teeth whitening, dental veneers, implants, full mouth reconstructions and smile makeovers.

Crowns: A crown is a permanent restoration made of a metal (gold), porcelain with a metal core or all porcelain. Crowns are used when a tooth is either decayed, broken/fractured, been root canal treated, severely discolored or misaligned teeth. They restore function and provide full coverage support of the tooth.

Bridge (fixed partial denture): A bridge or a fixed partial denture is a permanent restoration that is made of either metal (gold) or porcelain with a metal core or a combination. Bridges replaces one or more missing teeth by using adjacent teeth for support.

Denture: Dentures are artificial and removable teeth that are used to replace a person who has lost all their natural teeth.

Partials: Similar to dentures, partials are made of artificial, removable teeth that can be seen with metal or non-metal clasps. They replace one or more missing teeth. The partials metal/non-metal clasps attaches to your natural teeth for support.

Extraction: A tooth is pulled or extracted when the tooth cannot be restored by either a root canal, crown or filling. It's also done on teeth with severe case of periodontal disease.

Root Canal: Root canal therapy involves removing the infected nerve and/or dead pulp due to decay or trauma. Most teeth after root canal therapy will need a crown as a final restoration.

Veneers/Lumineers: A veneer is a thin shell of porcelain or plastic that is bonded to the natural tooth to improve the tooth's color and shape. A veneer mainly covers the front and top of a predominately anterior (front) tooth, but can be used to close spaces between teeth, lengthen small chip/fracture or misshapen teeth, or when stained or dark teeth. Dr. Ali will use examination and diagnostic models to determine if this is an appropriate option for you.

Whitening: Over time, our teeth darken as particles penetrate the outer enamel of our teeth. This darkening can be caused by the food or beverages that we consume everyday, such as coffee, tea, soda. It can also be caused by use of tobacco products, traumatic injuries, certain medication, fluorosis, and natural aging of our teeth. Ask Dr. Ali about our take home custom fit trays.

Periodontal Treatment: Periodontal disease treatment can be effective in stopping the progression of periodontal disease including gingivitis and periodontitis. Gingivitis is the inflammation or swelling of the gum tissues suffered by millions of people. When plaque, the bacterial film that grows on your teeth, builds up too much, gingivitis can result. The plaque that causes gingivitis irritates the gums, making them bright red, tender, swollen, sensitive, and bleed readily. Periodontal disease treatments are necessary to prevent the progression of these diseases and stop massive oral damage and eventual tooth loss.

Tooth Colored Fillings: Non-mercury white filling that is bonded to your natural tooth. It also provides a pleasing aesthetic alternative to traditional amalgam (silver) restoration.

Invisalign® (Orthodontic Treatment): Invisalign® is an effective solution for minor orthodontic problems (such as crookedness, crowding, and gaps between the teeth).  Instead of brackets and wires, the Invisalign® system uses a series of clear plastic trays to move the teeth into alignment gradually.  The aligners are custom-crafted by specially trained technicians, who use advanced computer technology to map out the patient’s entire treatment from start to finish.  The imaging software depicts the teeth’s final position, and each set of aligners is crafted to move the teeth closer to that position.  If you would like more information on straightening your teeth without traditional braces, contact our Office to schedule an Invisalign® consultation.

Implants: Implants offer a permanent solution to tooth loss and are stronger and more durable than bridges and dentures. Implants can also be used to support a dental bridge for the replacement of multiple missing teeth, and can be used with dentures to increase stability and reduce gum tissue irritation.
